Thank you, and a giveaway! (closed)

A couple of weeks ago, I reached 250 subscribers on this blog. I started playing with the idea of doing something to thank you guys and before I knew, there were 261 of you on here.

I really want to thank you all for reading my ramblings, leaving comments and asking questions. Writing this blog is a lot of fun for me, but knowing that actual people are reading and enjoying it makes it so much more exciting.

So we're going to have a little thank you giveaway. I decided to go for products that are talked about quite a lot these days on beauty blogs and forums, but that aren't easily accessible to everyone even though they are drugstore: Catrice and Bourjois products.
Catrice is a really affordable German brand that recently came up with a large selection of eyeshadows in a very nice packaging that looks like Shu Uemura.
Bourjois is a French brand that has been on the market for a long time, and they are actually the mother company of Chanel (you would expect the opposite, but no.)

Someone is going to win 6 Catrice eyeshadows and one of the Bourjois Mineral Pressed Powders that Nic from Pixiwoo has been using as a blush in a lot of recent videos.

Then someone else is going to win 2 eyeshadows and a blush, all by Catrice.

Obviously, everything is brand new and sealed (hence the glare on a lot of product coming from the plastic seals)

The rules are as follow:
  1. To enter, you need to leave a comment telling me what kind of posts you prefer on this blog, or what kind of posts you haven't seen yet but would like to see me doing.
  2. Giveaway is open internationally and to everyone. If you're not 18, you must have your parents or tutors permission to enter.
  3. You don't need to be subscribed to this blog through google to enter, however I would appreciate if you were and I am going to give away the largest prize to someone who is. If you're not subscribed and don't want to be, you're still making a chance to winning the second prize.
  4. Giveaway ends on Friday April 15th at midnight GMT.

For information purposes, I got a few more eyeshadows so I could swatch them to show you guys how they look when applied, this way you have a better idea of the pigmentation.

The first 2 are among the ones I am giving away and I was really impressed by the complexity of the colors, particularly the first one that made me think of Mac Vex (the picture doesn't do it justice).

So I hope you all enjoy this and stick with me and my blog. Good luck everyone!

  1. Congrats on all the followers. I love reading all of your posts so it's hard to say which one I prefer to read best, but since I love your taste any posts of your top fave items (ie...top fave glosses, top fave primers..etc) would be very interesting to read. Enter me please. xx

Hmmm, well I know that you're not that into "drugstore" makeup but if, in any chance, there is something in the likes of Maybelline, Bourjois, Elf, etc that you really love, I'd love to read about it ;)
    xx

  9. I've been following you for sometime. Love to hear about unique and/or harder to find product lines. We don't have that German company in Canada, so I'd love to try it! :)

Congrats on the followers, you deserve them and a thousand more!

I love your reviews and FOTDs, as well as shade comparisons for lipsticks, like the ones you wrote about orange and fuschia lippies. I really loved your recent prefume review as well!

Keep on the good work :) x

  11. I am so jealous of all your subscribers. You'll have to tell me your secrets later (though honestly I sadly still haven't figured out how to see how many people subscribe to you in RSS...I'm such a webernet idiot sometimes)! Honestly, I like it all, but I probably love the FOTD posts the best. It's fun to see you try different looks, and to give different ideas for how to mix up your look sometimes.
