This Works Perfect Skin Super Moisture

You might remember how much in love I was with This Works Perfect Skin Miracle during Summer and how sad I was that the product is tinted and too dark for me now that Summer is over.
Well, I e-mailed This Works and told them about my sad. I also told them that I needed something that would be a good makeup base and wouldn't make me oily through the day, and that, ideally, I'd love a non tinted version of Miracle.

The quickly replied that no, nothing in their range was similar to Miracle, but that they had checked with their product specialist and that, according to my requirements, they thought Super Moisture would fit the bill.
I was impressed with their kindness and how fast they handled my request, and then I ordered what they had recommended: Perfect Skin Super Moisture.

What the brand says:
Rich antioxidant cream that acts as a serum and a moisturiser in one.
This Works perfect skin super moisture combines the vitamin-packed, protective power of a serum with lasting hydration, for a one-step solution to hydrate, boost radiance and protect the skin from environmental stresses.
The potent concentration of Vitamin C, UK sourced Blackcurrant Seed Oils, Walnut, Evening Primrose Oil, Shea Butter and sugar based active penetrates deep into the skin to create an effective skin barrier, preventing loss of moisture and increasing flexibility and suppleness.
This Works Perfect Skin Super Moisture hydrates and revitalises dull looking skin, helps diminish fine lines and corrects uneven skin tone, to leave skin instantly revitalised, supple and smooth.

My experience with the product:

The packaging is exactly the same than for Miracle: a tube with a very nice pump, with which you can control how much you pour out, however one pump is perfect for the whole face.
Since this moisturizer doesn't contain SPF, it can be used day and night, and it would also work well if you're going to be photographed.
The texture is very balmy and comfortable, definitely nice if your skin is feeling tight, however this is not sticky at all. You actually have to rub it in quite fast as it will set quickly. Your skin texture definitely looks better and you have a perfect canvas to apply makeup on top.
There is a slight scent to it that I cannot really describe; it's a bit herbal but I'm not too sure. It really doesn't stay on very long anyway.

Right now, this is almost perfect for me: during the day, my forehead tends to get a bit oily (yet it feels tight) and I would prefer something lighter to avoid oiliness BUT this is perfect for the rest of my face, and it has soothed little dry patches that were starting to appear on my cheeks over the course of a week-end. I guess you can't beat the shea butter in it at that game!

All in all, a very nice moisturizer for daily use (or nightly use, but then I add a serum underneath) if you are normal/slightly combination to dry. I'm not sure this would work well for oily skins, though.
